Email clients usually allow you to set up IMAP, SMTP, and POP settings through account settings in the mobile email app/desktop email app.
First, add your existing Aol mail account in the mail app. Now let’s look at how you can manually set up SMTP for your incoming and outgoing email in Microsoft Outlook.
Now you are all set to sending emails with the updated settings. This same SMTP server settings apply for both Windows 10 mail app or Mac and iPhone or Android mail apps.
Now you can send outgoing emails to your recipients with the SMTP settings. However, you need to set up IMAP and POP settings to receive emails.
Log in to your existing Outlook account. Now, click on File > Info > Account Settings > Server Settings.
Now, on IMAP account settings, click on Incoming Mail and enter the AOL Mail IMAP Server Settings.
