The sequence owns the call
Orum itself says SEPs and CRMs manage sequences while Orum sits alongside them. SmartDialer takes the opposite bet: a call that follows two opened emails is a different conversation, so calling lives inside the sequence with full email history on every lead.

The conversation keeps going after hang-up
When a call ends, the rep picks a disposition and one of four queue actions (complete, retry, advance, or keep and continue), and can send a templated follow-up email from the same screen. The sequence advances accordingly. With a standalone dialer, everything after the call belongs to another tool.
Pricing that scales with usage, not seats
Orum is priced per user, billed annually, with AI Coaching as an add-on. SmartDialer is priced per account: one shared minute pool from $9/month, unlimited team members on higher tiers, and extra US numbers at $1/month, on top of Smartlead's flat $39/month platform. Cost tracks how much you call, not how many reps you hire.
